HIP KID RECORDS!?!?!

So, what's the deal with this label? Why the name Hip Kid Records? Well, because I'm lame and got a kick out of it. It's a name I put on a mix I made for my friend Matt and then on a mix I gave to my friends called Stick It To The Man Volume I. I've wanted to do a label for a long time to help put out music I really like! I held off on starting it because there was another really cool label around here called Turnpike that put out great music, so there was really no need for another label. But, Turnpike slowed down a lot in what they were doing, and a band I was in called PoisonNinjaClub was about to release a CDEP, so I decided now was the time. Anyway, the goal of the label is not to make money, it's to try and get great music by great people heard by other great people. All the money made by selling stuff goes right back into putting out more music. So, thanks for checking out the site, that's the story.
